The Ian Sturrock Memorial Pipe Band performs annually for all events hosted by our sponsors the St Andrews Society of the Middle South and the Caledonian Society of Alabama, including the Burns Night Supper in celebration of Scotland's National Poet Robert Burns and the St Andrews Banquet, a formal event held in honor of Scotland's Patron Saint Andrew.
ISMPB is also proud to be a regular feature of performances of the local traditional Irish folk and rebel music band Jasper Coal. For the best craic in town and for a evening you'll never remember, catch these two powerhouses of Birmingham-based Celtic entertainment at a venue near you! Brought to you by the great taste of Guinness®, the Official Beer of ISPMB and Jasper Coal! Together, ISMPB and Jasper Coal encourage you to please drink responsibly.

The Irish Olympics 2010...
St Paddy's Day is over now and the week's worth of events we like to refer to as the Irish Olympics has wrapped up. We must say the photo of the week has to go to our Molly Hand. In this photo Pipe Major Ryan Morrison performs a collaboration with Jasper Coal performing the Jacobite song "Johnny Cope". More such collaborations are in store in the future, so don't miss our April shows!
Please take a moment and visit her website at www.mollyhand.com to see some other stuff by this talented young artisan. Molly is also the instructor for the Alabama Academy of Irish Dance. AAID can often be seen at performances with ISMPB and Jasper Coal. If you are interested in Irish dance, Molly is the lass to see.
